Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture, produces nearly 90% of blankets.
After developing cow blankets (Meiji 20) based on Sanada weaving, we established a raising technique called "Otsu raising" for cotton blankets and wool blankets. There are various weaving methods, knitting methods, techniques and materials among blankets.

In 1970, a new genre of blanket called Meyer blanket was developed. Now it is widely used as a common blanket. Moriya Keori Co., Ltd. of Izumiotsu is the only integrated factory in Izumiotsu, the city of blankets, that can complete all the precise and delicate processes from delivered yarn to finished blankets in one factory.

Japanese blankets have become traditional patterns from designs that remained stationary during the period of rapid economic growth in the Showa era.
When I realized that acrylic and polyester blankets were the only choices that would suit my lifestyle, I came up with the design "Flood of Light."

A gentle texture reminiscent of watercolor and ink.

Multi-plate printing (6 plates) was used to express the gentle and delicate expression of blurring water that blurs the light and flows. It is a design that harmonizes with various interiors such as simple style, Nordic / Scandinavian style, and Japanese modern style.
Even the wrinkles on your way out of bed become part of your styling.

Naturally derived antibacterial and deodorant processing has been added to make it safer to use.
The texture is the same, and you can wash it as usual (put it in the laundry net and use the fashionable wash mode gently).
In modern homes with high insulation and airtightness, air conditioners work well and tend to get cold in the summer. If the room temperature is around 25 degrees, you can spend a comfortable time with just one cotton blanket.
In winter, it is placed over a comforter to increase heat retention, maximizing the potential of a duvet.
